North Philadelphia Food Not Bombs

 

North Philadelphia Food Not Bombs has been in continuous operation for over 7 glorious years. While we no longer serve or distribute food in North Philly, we like the mysteriousness of keeping that wildly inaccurate name.

We began at one serving a week and have moved up to two servings a week. We have only once missed a serving, and that was because there was so much snow we couldn’t open the doors of our house! We’re active in not only preparing and providing hot, delicious vegan and vegetarian meals, but also in distributing excess food we have donated to us each week. Come help out!

We begin cooking at 3:00PM on Sundays and 5:00PM on Mondays at LAVA, 4134 Lancaster Ave.

Rain or shine, Servings are Sundays at 5:00PM and Mondays at 7:00PM across from the Free Library on Vine Street between 19th and 20th Streets
